According to the Meteorological Department, a cyclic cyclonic circulation of upper air is located over South-West Rajasthan and from here a trough/irregular movement of wind is located till coastal Karnataka. An upper air cyclonic circulation extended up to 1.5 km height over East Bihar.

IMD Alert/Abundant moisture continues to arrive in the state. There is a possibility of light rain or thundershowers at one or two places tomorrow Friday. There is a possibility of thunderstorms and lightning at one or two places in the state.

IMD Alert/This is likely to start a phase of gradual increase in maximum temperature. According to weather experts, today there may be heavy rain in many districts of Chhattisgarh including Korea, Gaurela Pendra, Bilaspur, Mungeli, Kabirdham, Bemetara, Durg, Balod, Rajnandgaon, Dhamtari. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert in these districts. At the same time, light rain can also be seen in many districts of the state today.

The Meteorological Department has predicted a drop of three to five degrees in temperature in the next few days.

The interesting thing is that after last 30 years the temperature in Raipur has fallen to 24.7 degrees in the month of April. This is 15 degrees less than normal. The highest temperature was recorded in Balrampur at 34.4 degrees. The lowest minimum temperature of 18.7 degrees was recorded in Narayanpur.

According to the Meteorological Department, on Thursday, 39.6 mm rainfall was recorded in Gariaband, 21 mm in Kabirdham, 19.6 mm in Balod, 19.3 mm in Rajnandgaon, 17.6 mm in Dhamtari, 14.4 mm in Durg and 13.8 mm in Bemetra district.

Raipur’s day temperature 24.7 degrees for the first time in April

For the first time in the last 30 years, the day temperature of Raipur has reached 24.7 degrees in April. This is a new record. Earlier, the lowest recorded temperature in Raipur was 25.9 degrees on April 4, 1997. According to meteorologists, there is no possibility of extreme heat in the capital for the next one or two days.

Due to moisture coming from the sea, the weather has changed in the entire state including the capital. It has been raining in Raipur for the last two days. About seven mm of rain has fallen in the last 24 hours. There was light rain at some places during the day on Thursday.

Due to this, today the day temperature could reach only 24.7 degrees. This is 15 degrees less than normal. It was very cold last night also.

Chances of rain till April 14

According to the Meteorological Department, there are chances of rain only at one or two places in the state in the next two days. After two days, there will be rain at some places along with thunder and lightning. During this period, winds will blow at a speed of 30-40 kilometers along with thunderstorms. It has been raining heavily at many places in the state for the last three-four days.

There is a possibility of rain in many cities including Surguja, Jashpur, Korea, Surajpur, Balrampur, Bilaspur and Raigarh on 13 and 14 April.
