Election Duty, Chhattisgarh Loksabha Chunav 2024: Raipur. Lok Sabha and Assembly From elections to municipal bodies and panchayat elections, government personnel are put on duty on a large scale. Elections are included in compulsory service, hence no government employee can refuse election duty.

Election Duty, Chhattisgarh Loksabha Chunav 2024/ In such a situation, sometimes a dispute arises regarding election duty. Meanwhile, Chhattisgarh Employees Officer Federation has written a letter to the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of the state and given some suggestions regarding election duty.In this letter written by Kamal Verma, convenor of the Federation, it has been told to the CEO that the Officers Federation which is a representative organization of 110 recognized and unrecognized organizations.

Verma has written that the election process has been started by your office to successfully conduct the Lok Sabha elections 2024. The government servants of the state work hard day and night to conduct the election work impartially. The employees/officers posted in Naxalite areas are always committed to conduct fair elections by following the instructions of the Election Commission while risking their lives.

Election Duty, Chhattisgarh Loksabha Chunav 2024 / Suggestions for taking up election work from government servants in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2024 are respectfully presented: –

1. Such government servants who are physically handicapped, handicapped or suffering from serious illness like heart surgery, kidney transplant etc. should be kept away from election work.

2. Women employees should be kept separate from election work from security point of view. Similarly, such government employees whose age is more than 60 years should also be exempted from election work. If the services of these employees are absolutely essential then they should be attached to the election offices for official work.

3. Honorarium should also be given to vehicle drivers and daily wage employees doing duty in election work.

Therefore, the Federation requests you to take necessary action as per the above suggestions to seek services from government servants for election work in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2024. Election Duty
