Chintamani Maharaj entered Congress in the presence of BJP state in-charge Om Mathur at Rajmohini Bhawan in Ambikapur. Earlier, Chintamani Maharaj had reached Rajmohini Bhawan with hundreds of supporters.
In fact, the party has canceled the ticket of Samari’s current Congress MLA Chintamani Maharaj. In his place, Congress has fielded a new face. There were reports that Chintamani Maharaj was angry with the party for not getting the ticket.
Let us tell you that earlier, Chintamani Maharaj had given conditions to BJP for the entry of ticket from Ambikapur. But from there the party made Rajesh Aggarwal its candidate. However, BJP has proposed to him that the option of making him a candidate from Surguja in the Lok Sabha elections is still open.
According to media reports, Brijmohan Aggarwal, Vishnudev Sai and Sanjay Srivastava had reached Samri and proposed the entry of BJP in front of Chintamani. The promise was made that if he joins BJP, they will make him the Lok Sabha candidate from Surguja.
But, Chintamani Maharaj put a condition. Chintamani Maharaj told BJP that if it gives him a ticket against TS Singhdev from Ambikapur in the Assembly elections and then makes him a candidate in the Lok Sabha elections from Surguja, then he can think about joining BJP.
