Loksabha Chunav Training/In which district level master trainer Shri P.C. Soni Principal through PPT on the duties and responsibilities of the Sector Officer, physical verification of access roads to the polling stations, ensuring minimum facilities in the polling stations, vulnerable mapping and its identification, 7 parameters of critical polling station, EVM and VVH. Working process of PAT and errors occurring in it and its solution, protocol related to replacement of EVM and VHPAT during mock poll and during actual voting, process of voting, ballot accounting format 17B and filling of diary of the presiding officer, distribution of voting material. Detailed information was given about the work of the Sector Officer on the date and the work of the Sector Officers on the voting day and the forms to be submitted by them.
Loksabha Chunav Training/ He was told that a sector is a geographical area under which there are about 10-12 polling stations. To strengthen the election management, a sector is created which is in charge of the sector. In election management, this officer is an important and responsible officer who is responsible for the necessary facilities and election management in all the polling stations under his sector.
Loksabha Chunav Training/Minimum facilities ensured in each polling station: Good condition of the building, adequate furniture, electricity, drinking water, toilet, shade, ramp etc. arrangements have to be ensured. If there is any vulnerable para mohalla in their area where a group of voters are prevented from voting freely by intimidation, the sector officers were directed to submit the information in the prescribed form to the District Election Office.
Loksabha Chunav 2024/ They were also told that if any repair is required in the access road to the polling stations, then they should inform the District Election Office in the prescribed form. Physically verify the advance route chart prepared for the approach route. If any polling station is without network then inform it to the district office. Sector officers were also given information about 06 master envelopes to be deposited by the polling parties at the material collection center.
Loksabha Chunav 2024/All the sector officers of the three assembly constituencies 04 Premnagar, 05 Bhatgaon and 06 Pratappur should be present in this training.
