The Model Code of Conduct has become effective after the announcement date of Lok Sabha General Election 2024 in Holiday Ban/Bilaspur/District, which will remain in force till the end date of the elections. Collector Shri Avnish Sharan issued the order keeping in view the work of public importance like elections. Lok Sabha Till the completion of the proceedings of General Election 2024, a ban has been imposed on all types of leave of officers and employees working in all government, semi-government central offices and undertakings of the Government of India in the district.

According to the Holiday Ban/order issued, during the election process, no officer or employee posted in the district will depart on any kind of leave nor leave the headquarters without the permission of the Collector and District Election Officer Bilaspur or the officer authorized by them. .
Holiday Ban/ In case any officer or employee goes on leave without permission or leaves the headquarters without permission, the concerned office head or controlling officer will also be responsible.
