DA Hike: There is dissatisfaction among the state employees due to the announcement by the Chhattisgarh government to provide the 4% dearness allowance pending from July 2023 to the state employees from March 2024, because the present government has pledged to give dearness allowance from the same due date as the Center under Modi’s guarantee. The state’s dearness allowance was still lagging behind the Centre’s by 8%.

The employees had full faith that the Chhattisgarh Government will definitely fulfill its promise and will pay DA from the same due date as the Centre, but it was announced to provide only 4% and that too from March 2024, which is extremely disappointing, only then the employees asked What happened to your promise??

Da hike. State President of School Teachers Association, Virendra Dubey has demanded from Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai to reconsider the dearness allowance announced and provide this 4% DA amount from July 2023. The expectation was of full 8%, but we got 4% and even that not before the due date, in such a situation, dissatisfaction among all the employees of the state is natural. The government can still improve it, make payment from the due date as per Modi ji’s guarantee.

Organization’s provincial general secretary Dharmesh Sharma, executive provincial president Chandrashekhar Tiwari and state media in-charge Jitendra Sharma said that government servants are the hands and feet of the government, they always play an important role in the development of the state. It is not right to backbite, the state employees had full faith in the Modi guarantee that in this government they will get dearness allowance from the due date equal to that of the Centre, but they were deeply disappointed by yesterday’s announcement.

Da hike. The honor of Modi ji’s guarantee can be maintained by giving at least the 4% that is being given with due date from July 2023, the Chief Minister should definitely consider this.
