Shri Rathiya has been District Panchayat Member Raigarh from 2000 to 2005, District Panchayat President Gharghoda from 2005 to 2010, District Panchayat Member from 2010 to 2015, District Member from 2015 to 2020. Shri Rathiya is currently the District General Secretary Kisan Morcha.

If we look at Tokhan Sahu’s public and political life, Mr. Sahu was elected to the Legislative Assembly for the first time in 2013. In 2014-15, Shri Sahu has been a member of the Committee on Welfare of Women and Children, Member of the Delegated Assembly Committee, Chhattisgarh Assembly. After that in 2015, he was the Parliamentary Secretary, Government of Chhattisgarh.
In 2013, Tokhan contested elections from constituency number 26 Lormi. Tokhan got 52302 votes in this election. At second place was Dharamjit Singh of Congress who got 46061 votes. Tokhan’s percentage of votes was 39.75 and Dharamjit’s was 35.01.
