The work of approval of bills will also be done in a transparent manner.

At present, online software e-Kosh is being used in all the treasuries of the state for the approval of salary bills of officers and employees of government departments, along with this, hard copies of the bills are also sent to the treasuries through the departments after the signature of the Withdrawal Disbursement Officers. are being deposited in.

Now that the entire process of withdrawal of bills in treasuries is online, departments will not need to deposit hard copies of bills in treasuries nor will they have to submit BTR. The paper less process will also protect the environment.

Officials of the Directorate said that after the entire process of withdrawal of bills becomes online, work like approval of bills in treasuries and raising objections in the bills will also be online. Resolution of objections raised on bills will also be online. With this, there will be no need for the employees of the departments to go to the treasury again and again. Officers and employees of the department will be able to approve the bills and resolve the objections from their office itself.

Apart from salary, all necessary preparations are being made by the Directorate of Treasury Accounts for online acceptance of other bills also. A separate server for e-fund has also been installed in the Accountant General Office. For the online approval process of bills, officers and employees of the Finance Department have been trained in all the processes related to software operation. All the reports sent by the Directorate of Treasury and Accounts to the Accountant General will also be sent online, separate software has been developed for this.

Finance Department Secretary Mukesh Kumar today took complete information regarding various modules of e-Treasury software at the Treasury and Accounts Directorate located in Indravati Bhawan. The officials informed him about the entire process of bill passing in the treasury. Shri Kumar instructed the Director of Treasury and Accounts to make necessary preparations to start paper less work in treasuries from July 1, 2024. During this, a power point presentation regarding Public Finance Management System and Single Nodal Agency was also presented.
